One of the most important gifts we can give ourselves and our children is the knowledge and comfort that we are not alone. Through worship, study, and tikkun olam, we affirm our support for each other. This participation and commitment, above all things, has sustained our Jewish heritage for almost 6,000 years.

One Community/Many Choices

In true family tradition we envision full participation by every member, where each person can discover a meaningful role. At the same time, we recognize that Judaism is not "one size fits all." Given the diversity of our members of various backgrounds and interests, we seek to offer an array of modes of worship, education, and activities for each member. Many of our members are in interfaith relationships. We welcome all who wish to be a part of our community.

There are many paths to community at Temple B'nai Israel. Congregants can choose the services that best fit their needs—from Reform to Conservative to Traditional. We offer a wide range of groups and activities including Sisterhood, youth groups, educational opportunities, as well as Temple wide events and cultural activities.

Consider Joining Our Temple Family

We welcome all those wishing to join and participate in our congregation and have designed a membership structure that offers flexibility and many benefits. Like most voluntary institutions, our Temple depends on its members and friends to sustain its program, foster expanded services, and enable growth. Every member's investment is important, and we're able to draw on a sense of responsibility that has traditionally made us strong.

We welcome inquiries about membership whether you are a newcomer or longtime resident. Please come and visit us. Attend a service. Try us out. Our yearly membership dues and Religious School fee structure are extremely affordable – if you would like more information about joining our congregation please call our office at 630-892-2450.
